Once Upon a Time...
This project began with a simple observation: too many good books sit unread.
Working closely with books, we noticed how often meaningful titles — in Portuguese and in English — are bought once and then forgotten.
Slowly built, but thoughtfully shared, our goal is to create a warm, carefully conceived community where these books can be intentionally shared and circulate again, instead of sitting forgotten.

Our Selection
We look for titles that carry presence — stories that stay relevant, editions with character, and voices that deserve to be heard.
We value condition over quantity. Whether in Portuguese or English, every book enters the shelf because it belongs there — not because it was available. Each copy is carefully checked for quality and chosen for its literary value, aesthetic presence, and relevance within our bilingual shelf.
