Returning Policy

All books sold by The Bookshelf are second-hand and pre-loved. Condition is described carefully in each listing, and we encourage you to read descriptions before purchasing.

We do not accept returns unless the item received is significantly different from its description.

If you believe there has been an error, please contact us at thebookshelfpt@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the item. We will assess each case individually and, where applicable, offer a refund or replacement.
Shipping

We currently ship within Portugal only.

Orders are processed within 2–3 business days of payment confirmation. Once shipped, estimated delivery times are:

  • Mainland Portugal (Continente): 2–4 business days — €2.99
  • Azores & Madeira: 3–6 business days — €4.99

Shipping is handled via CTT. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation. Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary during peak periods.

Every order includes a complimentary bookmark from The Bookshelf.
